KC Bier Co. in Lenexa Eyes July Opening

KC Bier Co. Lenexa

Prost, Lenexa! KC Bier Co. is eyeing a July opening for its second location in Lenexa at the Vista Village development.

  • Room to Grow: The two-acre Bierhalle and Biergarten features an on-site working brewery, a covered patio, rentable event space, an amphitheater with a covered stage and large TV, a children's play area, and an off-leash dog park. The menu blends German street food favorites like Döner Kebab, schnitzel, Leberkäse, rotisserie chicken, and pretzels, along with American dishes including pizza. All beer is brewed on-site.

  • Bier, Soon: Although an exact opening date is TBD, progress is being made daily on the space. The space will accommodate up to 900 guests, so help will be needed. KC Bier Co. is currently hiring part-time and full-time bartenders, servers, hosts, and kitchen staff. Apply here.

KC Bier Co. Lenexa will be located at 18030 W 98th Street.

Shatto Milk Is Celebrating America's 250th With Birthday Cake Flavor

Shatto Milk Company

Shatto Milk Company has unveiled a new limited-edition Birthday Cake flavor and a "Patriotic Cow - 250th" collector's bottle to celebrate the United States turning 250 years old.

  • Happy Birthday, USA: The Birthday Cake milk captures the essence of a homemade cake: a bold vanilla base paired with buttery, creamy richness that makes every sip smooth and decadent. It's available now at the Shatto Country Store and hit local grocery shelves late last week. Customers can also order on Shatto Home Delivery.

  • ‘Merica Merch: Alongside the commemorative bottle, Shatto dropped a new "Patriotic Cow" merchandise line (while supplies last) including a navy hat with red rope detailing, a classic red hat, both sporting "1776" bottle patches, a navy tee featuring the Patriotic Cow in a top hat, and a white tee with red, white, and blue Shatto bottles.
