The Quest for the Kelly Cup Continues for the Mavericks
KC Mavericks
The Kansas City Mavericks are on the hunt for the Kelly Cup and the ECHL crown as they tie up the series with the Florida Everblades.
Revenge Served Over Ice: After a blowout loss to begin the series Friday night, the Mavericks bounced back with a 5-1 victory at Cable Dahmer Arena Saturday night. With the series knotted at 1-1, the Mavericks head to Florida for games 3-5.
Hockey Town: Cable Dahmer was sold out (capacity of 5,800 for hockey) on Saturday night in one of the largest crowds in franchise history. As long as the Mavericks don’t get swept in Florida, they will return home for games 6 + 7 on June 10th & 12th (if necessary).
Game three will take place Wednesday night, with puck drop at 6:30 pm.
