The Crossroads Night Market is Coming This Summer
Crossroads Arts District
The Crossroads Arts District will host a Night Market over five consecutive weekends this summer from June 12 through July 12.
World Meets Crossroads: Presented in partnership with ArtGardenKC, the Night Market will transform the district into a walkable, illuminated festival to welcome visitors and showcase KC’s creative culture. It will feature 200+ local makers and fine artists, culinary pop-ups from Crossroads restaurants and local vendors, live music, and street performers. Art galleries will have extended hours during Night Markets, as well.
Live and Let Live: Vendor locations span West 18th and 19th Streets, Baltimore Street, Art Alley north of East 18th, and the MADE MOBB parking lot at 221 Southwest Blvd. The Night Market will be Fridays 5 to 11pm, Saturdays and Sundays noon to 11pm — across June 12-14, June 19-21, June 26-28, July 3-5, and July 10-12.

Skims is Coming to the Country Club Plaza

Skims, a wildly popular shapewear, underwear, and loungewear brand founded by Kim Kardashian, will open on the Country Club Plaza.
Just Keep Skimming: Skims will open a 4,800-square-foot store at 405 Nichols Road, the former home of Soft Surroundings, which closed in early 2024. According to city filings, the estimated buildout of the space is $314,500.
Welcome to KC: This is yet another first-to-market tenant to land on the Country Club Plaza in the last few months, joining brands like Alo, Perch, J.H. & Sons, and more. Skims is valued at $5 billion.
An official opening date has yet to be announced. Stay tuned!
