Heartland Trailways Offers a Free Community Christmas Light Tour
Heartland Trailways is offering the opportunity to experience Kansas City’s most magical holiday lights for FREE!
All of the Lights: The Heartland Christmas Lights Tour is a step-on/step-off tour that takes guests to some of KC’s best holiday spectacles. The bus makes stops at Candy Cane Lane, the Country Club Plaza, the Mayor’s Christmas Tree at Crown Center, and Union Station, with a 30-minute stop to allow you to walk inside.
Tour Time: The tour will run December 20-23, with buses boarding at 6 pm and departing at 6:30. The tour takes off from two locations each night: Walmart Legends at 10824 Parallel Pkwy in KCK and Walmart SuperCenter at 11601 E US Hwy 40 in KCMO. The buses return at 9 pm.
The tours are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. The bus only holds 56 passengers, and there is only one tour per night!

Farm Fresh Market Opens Tomorrow in Red Bridge
Farm Fresh Market is celebrating its grand opening in Red Bridge tomorrow (12/18) at 2:30 pm.
Fresh Bridge: After eight months of renovation, Farm Fresh Market will reopen at 11212 Holmes Road in KCMO’s Red Bridge Shopping Center. The store will feature an all-new layout with vital infrastructure improvements and continue to offer fresh, high-quality groceries at affordable prices.
Fresh & Festive: The grand opening celebration kicks off with a ribbon-cutting with KCMO Mayor Quinton Lucas and Councilwoman Andrea Bough. The event will feature appearances from Santa & Mrs. Claus, The Grinch, and Cindy Lou Who. There will also be samples, tastings, and giveaways throughout the store.

The Most Expensive Airbnbs in Kansas City
The team at online publication BestBrokers combed through Airbnb to find the most expensive Airbnb in every U.S. state.
City Stays: The most expensive stay in the Kansas City area was at Hotel No Vacancy, which was found to be $5,159 per night, including fees. This rate included renting out the entire space, which includes eight total rooms, the courtyard, parlor, and lobby.
Border War: According to the study, the most expensive Airbnb in the state of Kansas was a Spacious Downtown Retreat in Lawrence for $2,867 a night. In Missouri, it was the Lakeside Haven in Sunrise Beach for $6,222 a night. (links to the specific properties were not provided)
