Historic Independence Drive-In Reopens
Mugs-Up Drive-In
After months of being closed due to a fire, Mugs Up Drive-In reopened this week in Independence.
Return of the Suds: Mugs Up Drive-In has been a staple on 23rd St. in Independence since it opened its doors in 1956. A fire inside the restaurant in January caused a temporary closure, but Mugs Up welcomed patrons once again on Wednesday.
American Classics: Mugs Up serves American classics in a no-frills environment. Whiz Burgers, hot dogs, tater tots, and of course “Mugs Up Root Beer”.

Aerosmith’s Farewell Tour to Stop in Kansas City

After their original farewell tour was postponed last year, Aerosmith announced the return of their “Peace Out” tour with a stop in Kansas City on January 25th.
Dream On: Aerosmith has been rocking for 50 years since their first album was released in 1973. The legendary rock band will play decades’ worth of hits night in and night out alongside special guests The Black Crowes.
I Don’t Wanna Miss This Show: The show in KC will take place at the T-Mobile Center after being rescheduled in September due to a fractured larynx by lead vocalist Steven Tyler.
