Applefest Returns to Weston This Saturday & Sunday
Weston Applefest returns this weekend, October 4-5, celebrating the harvest season as the region's biggest autumn festival.
Apple of My Eye: Now in its 35th year, the two-day event features Apple Alley, an apple-themed parade kicking off Saturday at 10am, arts and crafts vendors, and live music & entertainment. Visitors can enjoy traditional apple butter demonstrations, kids' games, and the beloved apple dumplings served at the Christian Church on Washington Street.
All Things Apple: Saturday’s events run from 10am - 5pm, with Sunday continuing from 11am-5pm. The celebration showcases more crafters and artisans than ever before, offering autumn delights and apple treats throughout the weekend!

Dark Forest Coming Soon to Powell Gardens
Powell Gardens presents Dark Forest for its fifth year, an eerie & immersive multimedia hike running on select dates October 17 through November 1.
Into the Woods: Presented in partnership with Quixotic, this one-mile journey through the woods features light shows, live performers, and music along an unpaved hiking trail. The experience uses fog, strobe lights, flashing lights, intense sound, and low to no path lighting to create a magical and mysterious wooded landscape.
Spooky Season: Dark Forest transforms Powell Gardens into a haunting nighttime adventure where nature's mortal realms meet the unexplained. The event also offers VIP experiences, a Fire Feast, a Mystic Faire, and other food & drink options.

Arrow Dart Club Reveals Official Opening Date
Arrow Dart Club will officially open its doors on Thursday, October 16th in the Crossroads.
Not Your Grandpa’s Game: Arrow Dart Club is flipping the script on the traditional game of darts with next level games and interactive scoring. The space at 1817 Locust St. has been designed to provide a great social experience revolving around dart lanes.
Bullseye!: Not a darts player? No worries! Arrow Dart Club will show live sports on their 175 inch screens, mouthwatering bites, and craft cocktails. They also teased a specialty wine concept called Sunken Cork coming soon.
