Le Fou Frog Named Top 10 Date Night Restaurant in the U.S.

Kansas City’s Le Fou Frog has been named a Top 10 Date Night Restaurant in the U.S., according to Yelp.

• Je Vous Aime: Le Fe Frog has called the River Market home for nearly 30 years and is consistently regarded as one of the top French restaurants in the region. The restaurant was ranked #7 on Yelp’s list for 2025 and was the only restaurant in the Kansas City area listed in the top 100.

• Le Fou Love: Yelpers praised Le Fou Frog’s eclectic atmosphere, glowing rosy pink lighting, and bold flavors. The restaurant will offer a special Valentine’s Day menu on February 14-16th, featuring an “Aphrodisiac” menu.

Local Liquid Offers Online Marketplace Exclusively for KC-made Beverages

Local Liquid is a curated online marketplace that offers craft beverages made exclusively in Kansas City.

• Drink Local, Support Local: Local Liquid was launched during COVID by Mike Richardson and Bier Station owner John Couture to support Kansas city drink makers. The marketplace offers locally-crafted beer & wine, spirits, coffee, juice, soda, and much more.

• How it Works: The concept is simple: you place an order on their online marketplace, pick up your order from the warehouse at 6500 Troost Ave from noon to 6 pm on Monday through Friday, and cheers! Local Liquid is now testing out local delivery as well.

Spring Training Kicks Off Today for the Royals

Good news for baseball fans! Royals pitchers and catchers report to Spring Training for first workouts TODAY. Here are some upcoming dates you need to know:

• February 12th - Pitchers and catchers report for first workouts

• February 17th - First full team workout

• February 21st - First Spring Training game vs. the Texas Rangers

• March 24-25th - Exhibition games at Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX

• March 27th - Opening Day at the K vs. the Cleveland Guardians
