History abounds in this downtown staple. Established in 1882 as the Kansas City Club, it served as a premier social club that welcomed the likes of U.S. Presidents Harry S. Truman and Dwight D. Eisenhower. Since Hotel Kansas City took over the space in 2020, it has served as a premier lodging destination in downtown KC. The hotel was named one of the Best New Hotels in the World by Travel + Leisure in 2021.
