KC Turkey Leggman Named Among America’s Best Restaurants for 2025
Turns out, turkey legs are delicious beyond Renaissance fairs. KC Turkey Leggman was named a Best Restaurant in America in 2025 by the New York Times.
It’s In the Name: Matthew Montgomery, also knows as Turkey Leggman, runs the unassuming shop located at 1916 Quindaro Blvd in KCK which has been in operation since 2022. It should come as no surprise that KC Turkey Leggman is famous for its smoked turkey legs, although it offers a full menu for take out.
Order To Go: Hand up, we’ve yet to make a visit to KC Turkey Leggman, but recognition from the NYT is cause for us to move it up the list. The restaurant is open 1-8pm Wednesday through Friday, and 12-8pm Saturday-Sunday.
