Betty Rae’s Opens in Prairie Village TODAY!

Betty Rae’s is celebrating the grand opening of its fifth metro location today in Prairie Village! The three-day celebration will be filled with fun activities and chances to win free ice cream. Here’s what’s in store:

• Tuesday: Starting at 4 pm, the first 50 in line get free ice cream (up to 2 scoops) and free toppings and sauces all day (up to three).

• Wednesday: Surprise grand opening special, announcing in the morning on social media.

• Thursday: Free waffle cone upgrades all day.

• Tuesday - Thursday: Register to Win Ice Cream for a Year - 10 winners (only at the new PV location).

Betty Rae’s Prairie Village can be found at 5330 West 95th Street and will be open from noon - 9 pm Monday- Thursday and noon - 10 pm on Friday- Saturday.

Chiefs OL Creed Humphrey Teams Up with Boulevard to Host The Ultimate Tailgate Championship

Chiefs offensive lineman Creed Humphrey will trade pads for a notepad this Sunday (8/25) when he plays judge for the Tailgate Championship with Boulevard Brewing Co.

• Protector of Tailgates: When he’s not protecting Patrick Mahomes, Humphrey will be protecting tailgates at the first-ever Tailgate Championship at the Boulevard Tours and Rec Center parking lot.

• Season Kick-Off: The event will feature gameday eats, cold beer & other beverages, a Best-Dressed Superfan Contest, raffles, and more. 100% of competitors entry fees will directly benefit KC Pet Project.

A Frozen Cocktail Bar is Coming Soon to Westport

Frost Frozen Cocktail Bar is bringing the chill to Westport this fall.

• On Ice: Frost will offer frozen drink classics and seasonal creations in the former Julep space in the heart of Westport. It will also focus on providing a dedication to service, community, and experience.

• Cool Vibes: The concepts’ vibes will be inspired by Miami and the tropics while blending them with the magic of Kansas City. You can chill with a frozen Piña Colada without buying a plane ticket!

Frost Frozen Cocktail Bar will be located at 4141 Pennsylvania Ave. and expects to be open this fall.
