The Lee’s Summit City Council recently approved a massive sports facility located at 3350 NW Ashurst Drive called View High Sports + Entertainment.
BIG on Sports: The development is led by 3D Builders KC LLC, with Managing Partner Scott Wheatley initially envisioning the project on a napkin with another dad. The 17-acre complex expects to break ground this fall, with an anticipated opening date of fall 2026. Once completed, it will be one of the largest indoor youth sports training and tournament venues in Missouri.
What’s Inside: The 180,000-square-foot indoor facility will include a FIFA-regulation-sized soccer field, eight basketball courts, 12 volleyball courts, a 7,500-square-foot training area, batting cages & pitching tunnels, a café, a 10,000-square-foot family entertainment center, and more.
