Chiefs’ Brand Value Surpasses $1 Billion

Kansas City Chiefs

According to Brand Finance, the Kansas City Chiefs' brand value has officially surpassed $1B, ranking them third most valuable in the NFL.

  • Billion with a B: The Chiefs’ value sits at $1.2 billion in 2024, up from $919 million in 2023. The only NFL franchises that rank ahead of the Chiefs are the Dallas Cowboys ($2.9B) and the San Francisco 49ers ($1.4B). The Cowboys are the most valuable franchise in all global sports.

  • The Reason Why: The Chiefs also ranked #2 in brand strength, which considers brand investment, stakeholder equity, and business performance. It’s not hard to imagine why: back-to-back Super Bowls, an undefeated 2024 campaign, global superstars like Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, and the hard-to-ignore “Swift Effect”.
