Arrow Dart Club Officially Opens Today in the Crossroads

Arrow Dart Club celebrates its grand opening today, October 16th, bringing a fresh take on traditional darts with next-level games, interactive scoring, and a lively social atmosphere.

  • Game Night on Game Day: Arrow Dart Club is located in the heart of the Crossroads at 1817 Locust St. Guests can enjoy reinvented dart games with cutting-edge technology, interactive scoring, and a lively social atmosphere. It will also be an incredible spot to watch sports, with a giant 175-inch screen along with TVs throughout the bar.

  • Bullseye!: In addition to sports and darts, Arrow Dart Club offers a menu of handcrafted cocktails and delicious small bites. The space also features a two-level wine lounge called Sunken Cork, which we were able to get a sneak peek of last week.

Get Spooky at Ghouls Night Out Tomorrow Night!

Get into the spooky spirit and see if you live to tell the tale of Ghouls Night Out this Friday, October 17 from 6-8pm at Westport-Roanoke Community Center!

  • Spooky Szn: Dress in your best costume to walk in the parade, trick or treat along the trail in Roanoke Park, play gruesome games, and enter the haunted Ghoul House (if you dare). For a full list of the night’s activities, see the Ghouls Night Out Guide!

  • There for a Scare: All activities are free except for the Ghoul House. Purchase your Ghoul House tickets in advance and skip the line! Entry is $5 per person. Please note: The south entrance from 38th St. to Roanoke Rd. will be closed. Guests can enter Roanoke Rd. from Karnes Blvd.

The Westport-Roanoke Community Center is located at 3601 Roanoke Rd. in KCMO.

Five beers from four local breweries were awarded at the 2025 Great American Beer Festival, where they were judged against 8,315 beer and cider entries. Here are the local winners:

    • Silver medal for German-Style Doppelbock or Eisbock

  • 🏗️ New Name, Same Fun: The upcoming $320 million project in Olathe that will feature an all-abilities amusement park called Michael’s Wonderworld has a new name: Halo Ridge. The development is at the corner of 119th St. and Renner Boulevard and expects to be completed by spring of 2027.

  • 🚪 Through Our Doors: The City of Kansas City has opened applications for its Open Doors! program, an initiative to create pop-up experiences for local businesses, artists, and organizations ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
