KC Daily
If you live in Kansas City (or you’ve been subscribed to KC Daily for a bit), you’ve heard the hype around The Rabbit hOle in NKC. The rest of America is now getting caught up, as it was just named a top 25 bucket list destination by PEOPLE Magazine.
Burrows and Bucket Lists: With over 40 exhibits (and more on the way), children and adults alike can immerse themselves in classic children’s literature. PEOPLE Magazine isn’t the only national publication that’s taking a liking to The Rabbit hOle, earlier this month it was featured on NBC Nightly News.
Eat, Read, & Play: The newest addition to the museum is Max’s Kansas City, which will feature dining options based on the books on display. The menu will include Blueberries for Sal, a Bowl Full of MUSH (from Goodnight Moon), a delightful grilled cheese (from Stinky Cheese Man), and more.

A 50-acre mixed-use project has been proposed in Lee’s Summit, and it could feature a new Q39.
Q in the Summit- Although many details have not been ironed out, a new Q39 location has been proposed for the Oldham Village development by Drake Development. The development would be near Missouri 291 and U.S. 50 Highway.
It Takes a Village - In addition to a freestanding Q39, Oldham Village could feature a Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, 307 apartment units, a grocery store, and more. This is the latest project in a slew of development for Lee’s Summit, joining projects like Discovery Park, Paragon Star, Streets of West Pryor, and others.
