The Park Hotel is Coming to the Country Club Plaza This Fall

The Park Hotel

The Park Hotel is opening on the Country Club Plaza this fall, a thoughtful reimagining of the iconic Park Lane Apartments building.

History Stays Here: Park Lane Apartments (4600 Mill Creek Pkwy) opened in 1925, built in the Spanish Revival style of the surrounding Country Club Plaza. One of the Plaza's earliest landmarks will now be transformed into a boutique hotel as part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton.
Coming Soon: The historic building was the former home of Courtyard by Marriott Kansas City Country Club Plaza, which closed in October of 2025. Further details are sparse, but according to the website, The Park Hotel will feature boutique rooms, “thoughtful” food & beverage, and event & wedding space.

Reservations are expected to open in the fall. Stay tuned.

Revive Collective Opens in Downtown Lee’s Summit

Revive Collective

Revive Collective, a designer resale outfitter for men, is now open in downtown Lee’s Summit.

For the Men: The shop opened in May across the street from the new Green Street. This new location is heavily geared towards menswear; however, Revive has a new & used women’s boutique nearby at 613 NW Murray Rd in Lee’s Summit.
Vintage Finds: The shop has a number of vendors in-house, some local and some national. They carry items from a local vintage vendor, alongside designer resale items.

Revive Collective is located at 127 SE 3rd St. Stop by and start hunting!

The Farmer’s House Hosts Brew-Ability 0.08K Beer Run This Saturday

The Farmer’s House

The third annual 0.08K Brew-Ability Beer Run benefiting The Farmer's House returns to the Brooksider Sportsbar & Grill on Saturday, July 25th.

The "Race": The race kicks off at 11am, and participants start at the back of the Brooksider, run out the back door, and around to the front. Every finisher gets a race t-shirt and a cold beer at the end.
Run for Good: Proceeds support The Farmer's House and its mission of empowering youth and adults with developmental disabilities to pursue their best lives.
