Boulevard Teams Up With the Royals for Earth Day

Boulevard Brewing

In honor of Earth Day, Boulevard Brewing Co. is turning home runs into tree planting and park cleanups, teaming up with the Kansas City Royals, the Arbor Day Foundation, and KC Parks.

  • Home Runs, Healthy Planet: Boulevard and the Royals will plant 425 trees for every 425-foot "moonshot" home run hit during the 2025 season. The effort is already underway thanks to Jac Caglianone’s April 6 blast. Boulevard also joins KC Parks’ “Partners in Parks” program by adopting Penn Valley Park and hosting monthly cleanups, including a city-wide event today with a NA Happy Hour for volunteers TODAY from 11am to 1:30pm.

  • Green Beer: Boulevard’s environmental mission isn’t new—it’s been core to the brewery for over 35 years. From zero landfill practices to sustainable packaging and energy-saving facilities, the company’s “Save the Earth” efforts continue to grow.
