Odyssey Coffee Opens Its Doors in Overland Park
Good news for local Java lovers. Odyssey Coffee is now open in Overland Park.
Coffee Adventures: The shop opened its doors early last week inside the Trailwood Shopping Center. Its design is modern yet cozy, and it offers a great space to grab a coffee before or after a trip to Meadowbrook Park, which is just around the corner.
Build or Renovate: Odyssey offers a full coffee menu using beans from Arkansas-based Onyx Coffee Lab, baked goods from Kate Smith Soiree, breakfast burritos, and more. The shop is open 6-6 on weekdays and 7-4 on weekends.
Odyssey Coffee is located at 5247 W. 95th Street in Overland Park.

Vine Street Brewing Co. Nominated for Best New Brewery in the U.S.
And now, good news for local beer lovers! Vine Street Brewing Co. has been nominated for Best New Brewery in the U.S.
Best in the U.S.: Vine Street Brewing Co. has been nominated as a finalist for Best New Brewery in USA Today’s 10Best Readers Choice Awards 2025. They were nominated by a panel of experts, and now you can vote for them through February 24th. The top 10 will be announced on March 5th.
Cheers to Beers: Vine Street Brewing Co. opened at 2010 Vine Street in 2023 and is Missouri’s first Black-owned brewery. The brewery is inspired by the 18th and Vine neighborhood’s rich culture and musical history and offers beers such as the Hood Saison Farmhouse Ale, Vines on Vine American IPA, Obscura Fortuna Stout, and more.

The Museum of Kansas City Unveils New Brand Identity
Formerly known as the Kansas City Museum, the museum dedicated to our city's rich history is now The Museum of Kansas City.
New Brand, Who Dis: The Museum announced the new name and brand identity last week, which seeks to mirror the region’s dynamism and cultural richness. The new branding features red and blue for the Kansas City city colors and intersecting lines representing the intersection of diverse viewpoints.
Long History: The Museum of Kansas City is celebrating its 85th year in 2025. Althugh the name change and branding is subtle, the transformation of our city has been monumental during its existence. The Museum will continue the rebrand throuought the year on Campus, signage, merchandise, and more.

Spice of Bombay Indian Kitchen & Bar Now Open
Spice of Bombay Indian Kitchen & Bar is celebrating its first month of being open at 9940 College Blvd in Overland Park.
Taste of India: Owners Kiran Kaur and Andy Singh recently opened the restaurant in The Shops at Corporate Woods and are currently remodeling their second location in Lee’s Summit (436 SW Ward Road).
Spice It Up: Spice of Bombay serves authentic northern Indian cuisine, with dishes like Tandoori Chicken, kebabs, curries, and a wide variety of Naan. The restaurant is open Mon-Sat from 11-2 and then 4-9, and Sundays from 12-8 pm.

🎥 On Video: The Chiefs have hired David Higdon as their new executive vice president of communications. Higdon was previously the head of communications for video game company Riot Games.
