CPKC Stadium Offers a Sneak Peek Before Currentās Opener

CPKC Stadium
In preparation for the KC Currentās season opener on March 16th, CPKC offered a sneak peek of the (nearly) completed stadium.
Bigger than Soccer: In addition to breaking history by being the first womenās professional sports stadium in the world, CPKC Stadium will offer expansive views of the Missouri River, the Bond Bridge, and the KC skyline. The food vendor lineup is also turning heads, with local favorites such as Joeās Kansas City, Yoli Tortilleria, Waldo Thai, and many more.
It Comes at a Cost: Concerns about parking availability have been raised as the season draws near and most of the 11,500 seats have been sold out. The limited space has forced the Current to announce that tailgating will not be allowed on-site this season.
The Current kick off against the Portland Thorns next Saturday, and the game will be broadcast nationally on ABC and ESPN+.
