A New Restaurant is Coming to the Former Houlihan’s in Fairway

Google Maps

A long-vacant restaurant space at 2820 W 53rd St. in Fairway could soon see a new restaurant concept.

  • Welcome Back: According to a report from KC food & drink reporter Joyce Smith, the new concept would be an ā€œupscale-casual venue with a Ralph Lauren feelā€. The space was the former home of Houlihan’s which closed in 2019, and the new concept is tentatively being called The Fairway.

  • Join the Club: Local restaurant group W. VinZant is the name vehind the proposal, and is working with the city of Fairway for approvals. W. VinZant also operates restaurants such as Gram & Dun, Heritage by Bo Lings, BRGR, Waldo Pizza, and many more.
