Clementine’s Ice Cream is Coming to Current Landing

Clementine’s Ice Cream

I scream, you scream, we all scream for riverfront ice cream! Clementine’s Ice Cream will open its second KC metro location at Current Landing along the riverfront.

  • Sweet Treats: The award-winning, woman-owned St. Louis microcreamery founded by Tamara Keefe is opening a parlor along the Missouri Riverfront, just steps from CPKC Stadium. You can expect small-batch flavors ranging from Gooey Butter Cake to boozy ("Naughty") options like Maple Bourbon with Candied Pecans. The “Naughty” flavors are available in Kansas City exclusively at the Current Landing location.

  • From the Village: Clementine’s Ice Cream entered the KC market by opening in Prairie Village in 2025, and will now cross over the state line to join one of Kansas City’s most anticipated developments. Clementine’s is the third food & drink concept announced at Current Landing joining a sports bar called Revel and an upscale Italian restaurant from Michelin-starred Chef Nicholas Stefanelli.

A spring opening is expected, alongside the grand debut of Current Landing.

Linda Hall Library to Open Major New Exhibition on March 13

Linda Hall Library

The Linda Hall Library will soon debut “The Alchemy of Knowledge: Science and Mystery from Shakespeare to AI”, a new exhibit exploring how knowledge transforms the world.

  • Mad Scientists: The exhibit will take visitors through five centuries of scientific disruption, from Renaissance-era mysticism to the rise of artificial intelligence. The free, immersive exhibition features original texts nearly 500 years old, including works by Francis Bacon, René Descartes, and Robert Hooke, alongside hands-on installations that put you inside the moments of discovery themselves.

  • Knowledge is Power: The exhibit will be on dispay through October, open Mon–Fri 10am–5pm, plus the second Saturday of each month 10am–2pm. In addition to hands-on installations, the exhibit features Draco Scientiae, a suspended dragon sculpture created with KCAI students, as well as an Arboretum Experience exploring Shakespeare’s works and Renaissance herbalism.
