Sports
The Kansas City Mavericks Look to Advance in the Kelly Cup Playoffs

KC Daily
The Kansas City Mavericks are skating through the ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs and will take on the Tahoe Knight Monsters tonight at 9pm.
We Want the Cup: The Mavericks hold a 2-0 series lead over the Knight Monsters, and look to sweep the series with wins tonight and tomorrow night in Tahoe. The Mavericks are riding the momentum of winning the Brabham Cup in the regular season, which is awarded to the team with the best league record.
Someone’s Gotta Win: The Mavericks are the current “bright spot” in Kansas City sports right now. Sporting KC is at the very bottom of the MLS standings, the Royals are at the bottom of the AL Central, and the Current are sitting at 14th (out of 16) in the NWSL standings. Have faith, KC!
