Dine Out, Give Back: Participating restaurants pledge 10% of menu sales to three organizations: the Greater KC Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, the Visit KC Foundation, and this year's featured charity, reStart Inc., which serves individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Over $4.2 million has been raised in 16 years of KC Restaurant Week!

Sky-High Living: The 6,100-square-foot penthouse atop 909 Walnut spans four floors (32nd-35th), and is reportedly the highest personal residence in a five-state region. 🍦 Icy Expansion: Local favorite Betty Rae’s Ice Cream has sweet expansion plans in 2026, with new shops planned in Lawrence (February), Liberty (Spring), Smithville (Spring), and Lee’s Summit (Spring).

🏀 March Madness: College basketball teams began conference play this past weekend, which has us looking forward to the 2026 Big 12 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships at the T-Mobile Center! The women’s tournament runs March 4-8, and the men’s on March 10-14.

⚽️ Wacky for Wicky: Sporting KC officially announced Rapha Wicky as the new Head Coach, pending receipt of his P1 visa. He becomes the fifth head coach in club history, and hopes to improve upon the team’s 7-7-20 campaign in 2025.
