The Morton Amphitheater Opens Tonight with Kesha
The Morton Amphitheater, Kansas City’s newest live music venue, officially opens tonight with Kesha performing.
More Than Music: Tonight marks the debut of a new 16,000-capacity venue in Riverside designed around one idea: bring artists and fans closer together. The venue features 12,000 covered seats (w/ another 4,000 on the lawn), exceptional acoustics, unobstructed sightlines, and modern backstage spaces built for major touring productions. A truly unique experience is The Vinyl Room, an exclusive premium lounge inspired by Japanese hi-fi culture — featuring vinyl DJs, chef-driven small bites, handcrafted cocktails, and a curated record collection celebrating KC's music heritage.
Summer Singin’: Kesha kicks off the inaugural season of 30+ performances throughout the summer, including Dave Matthews Band, Luke Bryan, Rod Stewart, Hank William Jr., and more. Premium season tickets are available.
The Morton Amphitheater is located at 6150 NW Music Blvd. Check out our sneak peek of the venue from earlier this week!
