A Drew Brees-backed Pickleball Concept is Coming to Kansas City
Kansas City isnโt dinking around when it comes to pickleball. A new indoor pickleball facility called The Picklr is coming to the metro.
Pigskin to Pickle: The Picklr is backed by legendary New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and was first launched in Uintah, UT, in 2021. According to the website, the franchise is planning five clubs across Kansas City, though no further details are provided.
Pickleball Central: Rumor has it that the first location may be coming to a redeveloped Rosebud Plaza in Olathe. Amenities would include indoor courts, ball machines, a pro shop, private events, and more.
The Picklr boasts 275 locations across the United States.
