Five Margaritas to Try in Kansas City
Our favorite version of Margaritaville isn’t sittin’ on a beach somewhere, it’s right here in Kansas City! With so many variations of the beloved cocktail, we’re here to point you to 5 to try around the metro.
📍2856 Southwest Boulevard

Not only does Ponak’s boast one of the best margaritas on Southwest Boulevard, but in the entire city. They’ve served over 350,000 gallons of their award-winning margaritas since 1975. 🤯

The OG of KC-made agave spirits is Mean Mule in the Crossroads, and their spin on the classic Margarita is excellent. This trendy spot is the perfect place for a drink before (or after) date night.
Summit Grill’s sister restaurant in Waldo serves up some of our favorite tacos and margaritas in the area. Try the Coconut Hibiscus Margarita or the Smoked Peach Margarita for something unique and special.
📍2905 Southwest Boulevard

This spot on Southwest Boulevard offers a massive patio where they serve an award-winning margarita made of Pancho Villa Tequila. Feeling spicy? We recommend the Habeñero Mango Margarita.

It doesn’t matter if you choose the Barrio location in Martini Corner, Brookside, Red Bridge, or Briarcliff, each offers some of the best margs in Kansas City. As an added bonus, the patios are incredible on a sunny afternoon (or morning or night).
