🥎 The Big Slick Celebrity Softball Game takes the field at the K at 5pm, welcoming celebrities, athletes, and a whole bunch of fun.

⚾️ Stick around after the Celebrity Softball Game to watch the Royals take on the Detroit Tigers at 7:10pm.

🗻 The Springfield-based Ozark Mountain Daredevils take the stage at the Muriel Kauffman Theater at 7:30pm

Saturday

🫎 The Royals take on the Tigers again at 3:10, and will celebrate the retirement of Mike Moustakas before the game.

🎉 The Big Slick Show takes the stage at the T-Mobile Center. Doors open at 6:30pm and the show starts at 8pm.

🌏 The 5th annual AAHNPI Heritage Festival takes place at the Zhou B Art Center in Northeast KC from 10am-5pm

🪕 The Weston Roots Music Festival will celebrate bluegrass, folk, and Americana music throughout Weston

🏃‍♀️ The Hospital Hill Run takes off from Crown Center at 7am, featuring a 5k, 10k, and half marathon

🎸 Breaking Benjamin and Staind will rock the T-Mobile Center starting at 5:45pm

🛍️ The Martini Corner Vintage Market is celebrating its first event of the season in the parking lot of Noka (31st and Oak) from 11am-4pm

CPKC Stadium to Host Inaugural Teal Rising Cup

The Kansas City Current and CPKC Stadium will host the inaugural Teal Rising Cup this July.

• First Cup: The four-team tournament is presented by Visit Missouri and will take place on July 12th and 15th. The tournament will feature doubleheaders on both matchdays, with two teams from the NWSL, and two from the Brazilian Serie A1.

• Pitch Schedule: The matchups on Saturday, July 12th feature Chicago Stars FC vs Corinthians FC at 4:30pm, followed by our very own Kansas City Current vs. Palmeiras at 8pm. The losers will then face off on Tuesday, July 15th at 5pm and the winners facing off at 8pm.
