Go Chicken Go is Expanding to the Northland

Go Chicken Go

Go Chicken Go, the historic Kansas City fried chicken restaurant, is expanding into the northland.

  • Northern Birds: Go Chicken Go has been serving up fresh fried chicken in the KC metro since 1969. The menu features community favorites such as chicken dinners, gizzards and livers, chicken wraps/sandwiches, and G-sauce.

  • Why’d the Chicken Cross the River?: The restaurant’s first northland location will be located at 380 Northeast Vivion Road. It will feature a dining room and drive-thru, as well as offering online ordering. This will be the chain’s first expansion since 2000, when the Shawnee Drive restaurant opened.

The new northland location is expected to open in early 2025.
