Vetta Italian Eatery is Now Open in Downtown Lee’s Summit

Vetta Italian Eatery is now open at 219 SE Main St. in downtown Lee’s Summit.

• Italian Is In: Owner Josh Edwards recently closed his taco spot Calaveras at the same location, and replaced it with Vetta due to the lack of Italian dining in the Lee’s Summit area. Edwards and his wife, Lanni, worked to redesign the space into an “upscale Italian restaurant”.

• Lee’s Summit Special: The menu at Vetta Italian Eatery features Italian classics like toasted ravioli, pastas, Spiedini, and chicken/eggplant parmesan. It will offer weekly specials, lunch specials, and an unbeatable happy hour.

Local PA to Open Two Tropical Smoothie Cafe Franchises

Nikki Vogel, a local Physician Assistant and mother of two, will soon open two Tropical Smoothie Cafe locations in the metro.

• North Kansas City: The first will be located at 119 Armour Road in NKC, replacing the former Calibration Brewing. This location has a scheduled opening on April 16th.

• Power & Light: The second will be located at 1360 in the heart of the Power & Light District in downtown KCMO. An official opening date has yet to be announced, but it is expected this Spring.
