• Incoming!: KC Restaurant Week returns this year from January 12th through the 21st. With over 200 restaurants participating offering menu options from brunch, lunch, and dinner there is surely something for everyone.

• New Favorites Or Tried & True: Usually offering a select menu, restaurant goers will have the opportunity to book spots at KC classics like Jack Stack Barbecue and Rye as well as newcomers to the city like Noka and Ocean Prime.

• Analysis Paralysis?: If you’re interested in seeing menus, booking tables, or simply viewing what’s available in your neighborhood, try the KC Restaurant Week app.

Tables tend to fill up fast, so this is your reminder to choose your restaurants now. Happy KC Restaurant Week, foodies!

Northlanders rejoice! Char Bar, the beloved BBQ joint from Westport has opened its second location in Parkville.

• My Kind Of Bar: Char Bar, the restaurant whose patio is almost as amazing as its food, opened its second location in Parkville last week which seats around 100 people.

• Pickleball?!: The new Parkville location adds to the patio game options with several Pickleball courts open from 7 am to 11 pm.

• The NFL Knows: Of course if you’re there for the BBQ, may we recommend the naked burnt ends? These bad boys are so good they even got a shout-out on the NFL Network.

Char Bar Parkville is open 11-11 on weekdays, while opening at 10 am on weekends.

Ice To See You

Get the kids in the car, and grab their jackets - Disney On Ice is coming to Kansas City in 2024!

• Double The Disney: During January and February, Disney on Ice will have two performances at the T-Mobile Center, Into the Magic and Let’s Celebrate!

• Magic IRL: Disney’s Into the Magic is a show that highlights characters with magical adventures like Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Miguel from Coco, and Anna from Frozen.

• All The Characters: Disney On Ice Presents Let’s Celebrate is Disney’s latest celebration of its 100-year anniversary, featuring more than 50 of Disney’s most beloved characters.

Into the Magic will be offered from January 25-28th, while Let’s Celebrate will be on ice from February 23-26th.
