Knit & Sip: Hot Grandma Nights is exactly what it sounds like: an evening dedicated to cozy crafting, game shows, cookies, and cold drinks. Boulevard will be pouring their new Old Fashioned Hard Apple Cider collaboration with Louisburg Cider Mill alongside the full Beer Hall lineup.

Crafts & Craft Beer: Grandma crafts are officially cool again. Bring your needlepoint, knitting, crochet, or embroidery project, or pick up a DIY beer cozy kit made with yarn from Scraps KC at the door.

Irish Spirit: This year’s festival is packed with events for the whole family: two food trucks, three beverage tents (Jameson, Restless Spirits, and Shamrock Hills), Irish dance, face painting, live music, and more. Emmy Award-winning and Kansas Music Hall of Fame icons The Elders will headline on stage beginning at 5:30 pm.

Green Gives Back: Shamrock Hills is partnering with Bags of Fun Kansas City, and a portion of festival proceeds will be donated to the organization. Bags of Fun provides children hospitalized with critical illnesses with bags filled with activities and necessary items tailored to each child's individual needs.

Building Baseball: The team will lead construction on the new 35,000-square-foot museum facility and the neighboring Pennant Hotel, a 144-room Marriott Tribute Portfolio property designated as the museum’s official hotel. MLB Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson is an equity partner in the hotel.

More Than a Game: The museum’s expansion will feature new collections, expanded exhibits, a sports science center for innovative educational programming, a research library & technology center, an event center, and a rooftop area.

🍺 Party At The Zoo: Brew at the Zoo returns to the KC Zoo on October 10th — a 21+ evening of unlimited samples from 30+ local breweries and wineries, live music, and food trucks. This year, tickets include access to GloWild: Hidden Treasure!*

🐢 Turtle Power: Atlas9 is screening the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the Holomax screen next Wednesday, September 30th. Doors at 6:30pm, showtime at 7pm. Tickets start at $9 and include admission to Atlas9.

🥤 Caution: Soda on the Road: A portion of I-29 was closed yesterday morning after a tractor-trailer filled with Pepsi overturned, spilling soda all over the road. No injuries were reported.
