• 🏀 March Madness: The college basketball action continues in downtown KCMO with the NAIA Men’s Basketball National Championship at Municipal Auditorium. The final 16 teams will battle it out for the title through March 25th.

• 🎼 John’s Jams: The Kansas City Symphony presents Ultimate John Williams, performing hits from William’s scores for Superman, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and more!

• ⚽️ Home Turf: Sporting Kansas City looks for its first win of the 2025 campaign when they host LAFC at Children’s Mercy Park on Saturday at 7:30.

• 🌼 Living Well: The Crossroads Hotel is hosting Still Equinox, a seasonal market & wellness gathering, on Sunday from 10-12:30. The event is free, but there is a $35 wellness experience that features tea, yoga, and dance.

• 🌟 Electric Rec: SERV is teaming up with KC Crew to host a Glow Pickleball Tournament tonight at 7 pm at 9051 Metcalf Ave. in Overland Park.

• 🎤 Monkee Madness: On Saturday night at 8 pm, the Uptown Theater hosts Micky Dolenz of the Monkees: Songs & Stories. Tickets start at just $39!

• ⛸️ Ice, Ice, Disney: The T-Mobile Center hosts four showings this weekend of Disney On Ice: Let’s Dance! The show features Disney favorites such as Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and more!

Hank’s Garage and Grill Officially Opens in Shawnee

The highly-anticipated Hank’s Garage and Grill officially opened its doors in Shawnee yesterday.

• Hello Hank’s: Hank’s is the latest venture from Eric Flanagan, who also operates King G and Jim’s Alley Bar in the Crossroads. He and his team have spent the past year converting the former auto shop at 5801 Nieman Road into a neighborhood bar and grill.

• Better Than Bar Food: Hank’s menu will feature upscale bar food from chefs Howard Hanna and Zach Sachs, including smashburgers, pork tenderloin sandwiches, Spam fries with banana ketchup, and more. They will also offer seven craft beer drafts, including Hank Lager from Alma Mader Brewing.

Hank’s Garage and Grill is open 11-midnight Wed/Thurs, 11-1 am on Fri/Sat, and 11-midnight on Sunday.
