Lebanese + Mexican Taco Concept Coming to 39th Street

@joyceinkc

A new concept combining Lebanese and Mexican cuisine is coming soon to 39th Street.

  • Global Collab: Beirut Taco will replace Zhoug Mediterranean, which closed last November. The restaurant is being opened by restaurateurs Marwan and Maher Chebaro; Marwan is the owner of Nour’s, a popular Lebanese eatery in midtown KCMO.

  • Taco ‘bout Unique: The menu will offer street tacos with both Mexican and Lebanese influence. It will be similar to Maher’s concept, El Cedro, located in Brooklyn, NY. Eater New York highlighted the five best dishes at El Cedro back in 2024, and we’re hoping to see a similar menu here.

Beirut Taco is expected to open mid-March at 3904 Bell St.
