The Hunt Is On for the 2026 Parade of Hearts

Michael Edwards Photography

All 150 heart sculptures from the 2026 Parade of Hearts will be placed across the Kansas City region by tomorrow, and the hunt is already underway.

  • Hunting for Hearts: The interactive Heart Map shows the location of every sculpture across the metro. You can also browse hearts by artist and learn the story behind each one-of-a-kind 6-foot sculpture, designed by 150 local “Heartists” who each received a $2,500 stipend for their work.

  • Friendly Competition: Are you the competitive type? Climb your way to the top of the Heart Hunter leaderboard. As of the writing of this newsletter, the current top heart hunter has already tracked down 61 sculptures. Just create a free account, and then you can add hearts to your wishlist, mark them as visited, and track them all year long.
