Betty Rae’s Teams Up With Two Local Favorites for Limited-Edition Flavors

When local businesses collaborate, we all win. Betty Rae’s has teamed up with two local favorites to offer two limited-edition ice cream flavors:

• Holy Cannoli: In collaboration with Jasper’s Restaurant, the Holy Cannoli is made with mascarpone and ricotta, with hints of orange and cinnamon, studded with semi-sweet mini chocolate chips and tart cherries.

• Churro Ice Cream: In collaboration with Sweet Kiss Brigadeiro, the Churro Ice Cream is made from their deconstructed churro cookie packed with baking spices, cinnamon pastry, and a rich churro filling swirled in.

A New Coffee Shop is Coming Soon to Midtown

1888 Coffee is set to open later this month at 3504 Gillham Road in Midtown Kansas City.

• Midtown Mocha: 1888 Coffee is taking over the former Mother Earth Coffee space, which closed in March. Neighborhood residents Chrissy and Robert Kehoe are carrying on the shop’s legacy. the Kehoe’s will add spaces and toys for children to ensure 1888 Coffee is a family-friendly destination.

• Familiar Spot: The shop plans to operate daily from 6:30am to 5pm. It will serve locally-roasted Parisi coffee, energy drinks, smoothies, and offer grab and go pastries and sandwiches.

Tiffany Bakery Celebrates Soft Opening Tomorrow in Westport

Tiffany Bakery is celebrating its soft opening tomorrow (5/8) from 8-8pm in Westport.

• Welcome to Westport: Tiffany Dreasler will open Tiffany Bakery at 4111 Pennsylvania Ave, which formerly housed GoCha Tea & Beverage until December of 2024. Dreasler will offer authentic Bánh Mì, pastries, cakes, sausage buns, and more.

• Tomorrow’s the Day: Tiffany’s Bakery will softly open tomorrow, offering guests a special preview of treats before the grand opening (date TBD). Dreasler will be perfecting her menu and service as she prepares to be another Westport favorite!
