1587 Prime Named Among 25 Best New Restaurants in 2026

1587 Prime

1587 Prime has been named a Best New Restaurant for 2026 by Yelp.

  • Prime Time: You likely know this by now, but 1587 Prime was co-founded by Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce in partnership with hospitality group Noble 33. The luxury steakhouse opened on the ground floor of the Loews Hotel in September of 2025, quickly becoming one of KC’s dining hot spots and hardest reservations.

  • Best in the U.S.: 1587 Prime was ranked No. 6 on Yelp’s top 25 Best New Restaurants list for 2026. Restaurants were ranked using a number of factors, including total volume and ratings of reviews. The list was finalized alongside Yelp Trend Expert Tara Lewis.

What’s On Stage Across Kansas City in October & November?

New Theatre Restaurant

The following list was graciously compiled by Mark Edelman, the founder and president of Theater League. Mark is a playwright who loves writing about theater.

As Fall rolls in, the beautiful foliage matches the impressive work now on view in theaters all across our town. If you want more local color, check out some of these multi-hued productions:

  • Hallelujah Girls: When an abandoned church goes on the market, a circle of friends turns it into a day spa, rediscovering their strength and the joy that comes from laughter in the process. Richard Karn, star of TV’s Home Improvement, holds down the fort (and his testosterone) in this new comedy.

  • Electric Poe: Just in time for Halloween, the Coterie rolls out this seasonal favorite, staged for sixty creepy minutes in front of the “holding fault” at the nearby Union Cemetery, Kansas City’s oldest. Hold onto your loved ones—it’s a scary ride.
