🏠 Artisan Home Tour - It’s the final weekend of the 2026 Artisan Home Tour, which showcases 20+ of KC's finest custom-built luxury homes open for tours across the metro.
🌍 47th Annual Ethnic Enrichment Festival - Kansas City's flagship celebration of global diversity returns to Swope Park all weekend. 60+ ethnic communities share authentic food, folk dance, music, costume, and craft.
⛳ AdventHealth Championship - KC's only PGA TOUR-sanctioned event on the Korn Ferry Tour takes over Blue Hills Country Club, with 156 golfers competing for $1,000,000 and a ticket to the PGA TOUR.
🎭 Jesus Christ Superstar - It’s the opening weekend of the groundbreaking rock opera at Music Theater Heritage at Crown Center! On stage through September 13th, with three shows this weekend.

🎶 KC Symphony: European Tour Send-Off Concert - Send the Symphony off to Europe in style, as they perform the program they'll take to Europe's top concert halls. The performance includes Copland's Appalachian Spring Suite and Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto, featuring Blake Pouliot.
⚾️ Royals vs. Tigers - The Royals host the Detroit Tigers at Kauffman Stadium at 7:10pm, with the first 10,000 fans receiving a City Connect Crossbody Giveaway Bag, a postgame concert from TobyMac, and Fireworks Friday!
Saturday
🌭 Hot Dog Festival - The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum’s annual celebration of baseball's favorite food returns to the National WWI Museum and Memorial with live performances, ballpark foods, food trucks, and drinks from 3–11pm. All proceeds benefit the NLBM.
🍷 Uncorked: KC Wine Festival - Hundreds of wines, bubblies, and cocktails from across the globe at Union Station, along with DJs spinning all night, a photo booth, food trucks, and exclusive VIP access to Science City.
⚽️ Current vs. Reign - The Current welcome Seattle Reign FC to CPKC Stadium for Teal Out Night, with kickoff at 5:30pm.

🏃 Head for the Cure 5K - KC’s largest charitable 5K returns to Corporate Woods in Overland Park with thousands of participants raising funds for brain tumor research at KU Cancer Center, Children's Mercy, and more. Race starts at 8am.

Lucky Rabbit Literature Festival is Coming to The Rabbit hOle This Fall
The Lucky Rabbit Literature Festival brings an all-star lineup of children's book authors, illustrators, cartoonists, and editors to Kansas City for a multi-day celebration, October 1-3.
Brains Behind the Books: The multi-day festival features creators who have earned some of the highest honors in children's literature: the Caldecott Medal, Newbery Honor, Eisner Award, Theodor Seuss Geisel Award, and more. A free meet-and-greet with all the presenters is scheduled for Friday (10/2) at 4:30pm; RSVPs are encouraged.
Kids and Adults: The weekend kicks off with a ticketed dinner and opening reception at Green Dirt on Oak on Thursday night. Friday is Kids’ Day at The Rabbit hOle with a book signing, and Saturday is Adult Conference Day at the National WWI Museum & Memorial.
