Duff’s Irish Golf to Bring “The Pickleball of Golf” to Parkville
Duff’s Irish Golf
Pending city approval, Duff’s Irish Golf will bring “The Pickleball of Golf” to Parkville.
What Is It?: Irish Golf is a simplified version of golf, played on a 9-hole course where each hole is just 50-75 yards. The game is played with two clubs: a pitching wedge and a putter, making it accessible to players of all skill levels and experience.
Irish Hello: Duff’s will be located at 15550 Old Town Dr. in Parkville, with the course sitting along Brush Creek between Old Town Creekside and I-435. The concept would also feature a pub (with Golden Tee, of course), a wiffle ball field, a putting course, and large outdoor movie screens.
An opening date is TBD, but expected this fall. Follow along on social media for updates!

Swope Memorial Golf Course Reopens This Week After Historic Renovation
Swope Memorial GC
Swope Memorial Golf Course reopens its gates this Friday, July 31st, following an extensive restoration that returned the course to A.W. Tillinghast's original 1934 design.
History Restored: The renovation brought back Tillinghast's tight layout with rolling fairways and undulating greens carved through Swope Park. Sweeping views of the downtown KC skyline and the sounds of the Kansas City Zoo below make it a one-of-a-kind experience. Swope has been named a top public course in Missouri by Golfweek, GolfPass, and Missouri Golf.
Par for the Course: The grand reopening is this Friday, and tee times are now available up to 7 days in advance. Private lessons are available, and events will resume for the 2027 season.
