Rainy Day has been curating books for the Kansas City community since 1975. In addition to the thousands of books on the shelves, Rainy Day offers 300+ author events each year!

Monstera’s Books is a relatively new addition to the independent bookstore scene in Kansas City, just opening in March of 2024. In addition to offering new and vintage books, they also double as a plant shop. 🪴
Prospero’s Books & Media has been a staple on 39th Street since 1997. The eclectic, three-story space offers over 50,000 books on the shelves and countless stories to tell.
