Two Kansas City Places Named Among the World’s Greatest by TIME Magazine

Kansas City is on a hot streak, and the world is taking notice. The latest honor came yesterday, as TIME Magazine named TWO places in Kansas City on its list of the World’s Greatest Places of 2024. Here they are:
🐇 The Rabbit hOle: The immersive children’s literature museum is the first of its kind in the United States.
⚽️ CPKC Stadium: The home of the KC Current and the first women’s professional sports stadium in the world.

Meet the 2024 Olympians from Kansas City

Paris 2024
The wait is over! The 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris officially kick off today, with opening ceremonies set for 11:30 am CST. Meet the Kansas City athletes who will be competing in this year’s games:
Quincy Hall: Hall was a standout Track & Field athlete at Raytown South HS and will compete in the 400m dash on August 4th at 12:05 pm CST.
Chris Nilsen: After taking silver in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the Pole Vault, the Park Hill HS alum will return to action on August 3rd at 3:10 am CST.
Leanne Wong: The Blue Valley HS Alum is a “replacement gymnast” for Team USA, meaning he will compete if one of her teammates cannot.
Lynnzee Brown: Brown attended Raytown HS and will compete for Haiti in the artistic gymnastics competition.
Aleah Finnegan: The Summit Christian Academy standout and will be the first female gymnast to represent the Philippines at the Olympics.
