Incline on 9th is Now Open in the West Bottoms

A new restaurant is now open at 1414 W Ninth St. in the West Bottoms of Kansas City.

  • Bottoms Feeder: Incline on 9th opened in late September, and is named after the 9th Street Incline which opened in 1885 and connected the West Bottoms to Quality Hill in downtown KCMO. The restaurant blends chic style with the industrial roots of the West Bottoms.

  • Local Tastes: Incline on 9th is proud to work with local businesses to create its chef-driven menu. Partners include Yoli Tortilleria, City Market Coffee, West Bottoms Whiskey, Tom’s Town Distilling Company, and more. The restaurant is open Wednesday-Saturday from 2 pm-midnight.

Booth Creek Wagyu Opening a New Shop in Prairie Village

Booth Creek Wagyu is opening a new retail location in Prairie Village later this fall.

  • Double Beef: This will be the second retail location in the metro for the Manhattan-based ranch, with the first being at 13412 Metcalf Ave. in Overland Park. The new location will be located in Meadowbrook Shopping Center at 95th and Nall.

  • Wagyu for You: Since 2020, Booth Creek Wagyu has raised cattle with DNA traceable to Japanese Wagyu, which is known for producing rich, marbled beef. Booth Creek calls itself a “jewelry store for beef” and will sell high-quality steaks, brisket, jerky, sausage, and more.

Booth Creek Wagyu Prairie Village is expected to be open in December 2024.

  3. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport - 561.4 average daily passengers
