KC Daily
When it comes to awards in the hospitality industry, few organizations carry more weight than AAA and Michelin. AAA released its list of Four and Five Diamond hotels and restaurants across the country, and KC fared well across both categories, although no local establishments earned the elusive Five Diamonds.
AAA Ratings: AAA, also known for their roadside assistance, recently released its 2023 Diamond list of hotels and restaurants. The establishments are graded based on criteria in cleanliness, comfort, cuisine, and consistency.
The Stays: There were 10 hotels in KC to earn Four Diamonds, including some of our favorites - Loews Hotel, Hotel Kansas City, and The Raphael on the Plaza.
The Eats: If you’re a Kansas City foodie, the 2 Four Diamond earners will be no surprise. Corvino, known for its tasting menu, and Stock Hill, which was also named one of the top 31 steakhouses in the US.
