Coffee with Friends

KC Daily
We recently stopped by Chingu Coffee in the West Plaza neighborhood, a locally-owned shop that emphasizes friendship with guests.
Coffee & Conversation: Meeting friends over coffee is not a new concept, but Chingu, which means “friend” in Korean, weaves friendship into all aspects of the company. From relationships with coffee farmers, importers, staff, and guests; everyone is a friend at Chingu.
More than Beans: Chingu Coffee opened last year and is a part of the “Chingu Collective”. The collective also offers Chingu, a Korean restaurant in Westport, and the recently released Chingu Soju, a Korean spirit distilled right here in Kansas City.
