Latte Life Opens October 12th in North Kansas City

Latte Life

Latte Life, a new coffee shop from local nonprofit Life Unlimited that employs adults with disabilities, opens this Monday, October 12th, in North Kansas City.

  • Every Cup Counts: The shop at 318 Armour Rd. will serve café drinks, non-caffeinated options, and light pastries, with beans from Provis Coffee Roasters and Northlandia Coffee Roasting Co. Provis is even sending its baristas to help with training. The cozy space has room to work solo, catch up with a friend, or hold a meeting.

  • Grounds for Growth: Latte Life runs on a cohort model, where four adults with disabilities train for four months as a launchpad into wider community employment. Life Unlimited has provided housing and support services for more than 50 years, with 70+ homes across 12 counties. It also runs Unlimited Thrift in Liberty.
