Local Brewery Honors 150 Years of the KC Public Library

Vine Street Brewing

To celebrate the 150-Year Celebration of the Kansas City Public Library, Vine Street Brewing has released ‘One for the Books’.

  • The Beer: Initially released in November of last year, ‘One for the Books’, a Kentucky Common beer, is back on draft and in cans at Vine Street Brewing at 2010 Vine St. in KCMO. The Kentucky Common style beer is rare in today’s market, but it is essentially a darker version of the American Cream Ale. The label artwork on the cans was designed by the local agency Whiskey Design.

  • The Books: The Kansas City Public Library has deep roots in Kansas City, being founded in 1873. The library is celebrating its 150th Anniversary with events throughout the entire year with a variety of local collaborations such as this one with Vine Street Brewing.

The beer can be found in-store at Vine Street Brewing and is only available while supplies last.
