Ted Lasso Season 4 premieres on Apple TV today, and the first episode was filmed in Kansas City. Here are some local spots that you can see in the episode:

KC Current Studios Is Now Open at Current Landing

The Kansas City Current opened KC Current Studios this Monday at Current Landing, a first-of-its-kind production and broadcasting facility dedicated to women's sports media, storytelling, and community programming.

  • We’re Live!: The studio houses a photo studio, podcast recording studio, video/broadcast studio, and production control room. Monday’s grand opening included a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the current co-owners, Brittany Mahomes and Chris & Angie Long, alongside Grammy Award-winning artist Melissa Etheridge.

  • Bigger Than a Studio: KC Current Studios will also host future broadcasting classes, workshops, and boot camps for women pursuing careers in sports media. Current Sessions continue all month with free concerts on Tuesdays and Thursdays through August 18th.

World Fresh Market Opens Today in the Northland

World Fresh Market

World Fresh Market opens its second KC-area location today, inside a former Sun Fresh Market space.

  • Northland Fresh: World Fresh Market is located at 4357 N. Chouteau Trafficway, bringing an international grocery store to the growing Northland. A city-backed Community Improvement District will use sales tax revenue to revitalize the surrounding area, including the parking lot.

  • Well, Aisle Be: Across more than a dozen aisles, shoppers will find Hispanic, Asian, Mediterranean, Indian, Pakistani, African, and Eastern European products alongside fresh produce, a meat market, and a bakery.

World Fresh Market will be open daily from 7am-10pm.
