Kansas City Automotive Museum Plans Move to Midtown
The Kansas City Automotive Museum is planning a move from Olathe to a larger, modern facility in Midtown Kansas City.
Midtown Motors: The new three-story, 40,000-square-foot space at 600 W. 31st St. will showcase around 45 classic and exotic cars, along with an event space, a café, a museum store, and a children's area. The relocation aims to provide a more immersive experience for visitors and expand community engagement.
Halfway Home: With over $15 million pledged toward its $30 million goal, the museum hopes to attract national car club events and support local programs like Kids Autocross. This move reflects the museum’s dedication to growing Kansas City’s automotive culture.
