A ‘Neighborhood Work Club’ is Coming to the Crossroads

Switchyards

Atlanta-based Switchyards will open its first ‘neighborhood work club’ in Kansas City on April 14th.

  • In The Club: Switchyards will open its first KC location (23rd in total) at 1712 Holmes Street in the East Crossroads. The 99-year-old former brass foundry will be restored to feature a cafe area for collaboration and meetings, a library for focused work, phone booths, and bookable meeting rooms. Switchyards plans to add locations in the KC metro in the future.

  • Gotta Go To Work: Members will have 24/7 access to the club, which is thoughtfully designed for productive work and to honor the building’s past. Memberships will go live on Thursday, April 10th before the club’s opening on April 14th. Memberships are just $100/month, but only 250 will be available.

The Z-Man is Coming to Kauffman Stadium

KC Daily

The Kansas City Royals have partnered with Joe’s Kansas City Bar-B-Que to bring the Z-Man Sandwich to Kauffman Stadium.

  • KC ‘Cue: With the new vendor partnership with the Royals, Kauffman Stadium continues improving its gameday food & beverage options. In a city known for its BBQ, the addition of Kansas City’s most recognizable sandwich is a welcome addition and builds strong ties with the community.

  • Z at the K: The Z-Man will be found in right field next to the Outfield Experience. Fans can choose between traditional slow-smoked beef brisket or smoked pulled chicken with BBQ mayo. Of course, they will be topped with smoked provolone and two crispy onion rings on a toasted Kaiser roll.

Opening Day at the K is March 27th when the Royals take on the Cleveland Guardians.
