Mission Taco Joint is Rebranding as Session Taco
After a trademark lawsuit, Mission Taco Joint will rebrand to Session Taco over the next few months.
New Name: As the result of a lawsuit from Gruma Corporation (parent company of Mission Foods) from 2023, Mission Taco owners and brothers Adam and Jason Tilford decided to rebrand the restaurant to Session Taco. There are eight locations across KC and St. Louis with over 500 employees.
Same Tacos: Sort of. Along with the new name, Session Taco will refresh the menu by adding a variety of Southern California-style street food. Guests at the Kansas City locations will start seeing the new branding this week.
A new website will be launched over the next few months. Until then, you can check out their current site HERE.
