New York-Style Renovation

KC Daily

Happy Thursday, Kansas City! After more than a year of waiting, City Barrel is finally ready to open its newest Brookside location this spring.

  • Looong Time Coming: In 2022, City Barrel, the Crossroads brewery known for hoppy beers and fun theme-nights, is on track to open its newest City Barrel Pizza and Patio by early spring.

  • Pups Welcome: City Barrel Pizza and Patio, which took over the space formerly occupied by Bier Station at 120 East Gregory, has been renovating the space to be a 2-story full-service restaurant with a pet-friendly patio.

  • Just Like Grandma Made It: Beyond the quality beer that customers have come to know from City Barrel, the pizza will be mainly New York style along with a new variety of pizza called Grandma Style, a thicker crust with toppings and sauce cooked on top of the cheese.

While City Barrel doesn’t want to jinx it (it’s been over a year after all), it seems as if City Barrel Pizza + Patio could be open by March.
