Home Match: This will be a “home” match for Argentina, which has set up base camp at the Origin Hotel Kansas City along the riverfront and is training at the Compass Minerals National Performance Center.

Summer of Soccer: This summer, the world’s game is visiting Kansas City. But here, it’s always been part of who we are. Soccer Capital Summer is a series of events and experiences that celebrate both the game and the city Kansas City loves. It brings together the culture of soccer with the spirit of Kansas City — loud, high-energy, and full of passion for the game.

Love of the Game: Over the summer, fans can come together just steps from where the pros play to enjoy watch parties, concerts, live entertainment, and local KC vendors, all bringing the energy of the game to life.

Together, We Eat: These monthly gatherings pair you with a group of five fellow Kansas Citians based on a 15-question personality quiz. Groups will be matched to have dinner together at a local restaurant based on responses, then all tables will be invited to an optional all-group gathering afterward for drinks, fun, and further connection.

Dinner With Strangers: Does dining with strangers sound a little intimidating? You can now bring +1’s! Guests can be invited when checking out after taking the personality quiz. But we encourage you to step outside your comfort zone to meet fellow Kansas Citians while enjoying a meal at a handpicked local restaurant!

☕️ Downtown Drip: Grand Coffee + Smoothies is opening TODAY inside the Lightwell Building in downtown KC (1100 Main St.). It joins other metro locations at Crown Center and Shawnee.

🥖 Paris→Lee’s Summit: Paris Baguette, the French-inspired bakery chain, is opening a fourth metro location at 909 NE Rice Road in Lee's Summit inside a former bank building. A spring 2027 opening is expected.

🏈 Summer Football: We have the schedule for the 2026 Chiefs Training Camp at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, which kicks off on July 29th. Season ticket members can reserve tickets today; the general public opens tomorrow.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 English Landing: The English National Team arrived at The Inn at Meadowbrook in Prairie Village this past Sunday, which drew quite a crowd. The Three Lions will train at Swope Park Village.
